My birthday came and went. I had a really nice one; although, I didn't really know it was my birthday until about three days prior to the actual date -- HONESTLY! And that's pretty sad, in my opinion. My mom, aka, my best friend in the whole, wide world said that not really "knowing" it's your brithday is a sign of one thing; age. I'm standing in the doorway of 30, and life seems. . . you know what? That's enough about that; could get deep right about now.

The intention of this post is to talk about the birthday gift I got from the greatest parents that ever lived!

They got me a new camera! Whoooo-Hoooo! I have a camera on my Nextel and I also bought a really cool credit card-size Casio camera when they first came out about two years ago; that one is 3.2 mp, and it's very useful when I don't want to lug a whole lot with me.

Back to my new one: It's friggin' sweet as hell! It's a Fujifilm FinePix S3100.
You can check it out here. I can't wait to start snapping away. Anyone out there hear anything about this particular camera; good or bad? I'd love to know. I've read nothing but positive reviews, but I'm sure the negative is just waiting to show it's face.
I don't care; this puppy is just the camera I would have picked for myself!
Thanks Mom & Dad!!! I love you!

Guess a photo blog is next!

Help! Anybody?

So I know there's a way, and my brain is too tired ( in other words, I'm too lazy ) to look it up......
Can someone out there tell me how to use Haloscan ---to not show email addresses and such other info on my blog?

help me by leaving a comment or send me an email!

I love sunsets.

Yes, I'll admit it. I am a bit sappy when it comes to sunsets. I don't know what it is , but when I catch a really good one, it tends to make me feel all two-year-oldish. I feel happy and extra spiritual whilst watching the sun drift away from my land and off to make things clear for another part of the world. It just amazes me; okay?!

Check out these PHOTOS I took when I was driving to visit my parents just a few weeks ago. I didn't stop my car or anything; just used my phone to take them. A very fierce rain had just finished. It's about a two-hour drive from my house to theirs, and I actually came close to turing back because the weather was horrible when I left my house. I'm glad I didn't.

Cheech & Chong

Cheech and Chong, the seminal stoner comedy duo of the 1970s, might return to movie theaters soon.

Speaking to reporters at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival after their first stage reunion in 25 years, the duo said they are in the final stages of writing a script and hope to start production soon.

That ought to be something to see!

What Goes Down Must Come Up

I always intend to start a post and write a little about myself, but I have to admit that I am extreamly reluctant to go very far with it. I'm a big-ass chicken is what I am. Do I Really lack this much self-confidence? I suppose I do. What if someone I "really" know reads this? Blah Blah Blah. I hate being so insecure. That's just the way it is from constantly being/feeling judged. Not so much anymore (I don't think) but hey, the past is sometimes really hard to let go--bury!

They (whoever they are) say "what goes up must come down;" true. But the opposite holds espically true with me: "what goes down must come up." Damn, I could really get into some deep shit right about now, but I won't. And I seriously don't know if it's because I know no one is listening(reading) this or because I'm terrified that someone might actually stumble upon these words and eventually pass judgement that will undoubtly be to my dismay.

Someone special once said something about: A wearable patch that dispenses sporadic doses of approval. God, that comment hit hard and right at my epicenter.

You Go Coffee Guy!

What a story about that Coffee Dude/kindergarden teacher who is now a very rich man. I couldn't help but think "Good for him!"
It's weird, though, that I read this
today, because it was only a few days ago that I was at my Mom's home visiting, and I was hurriedly looking for some reading material to bring along with me to "
It was, like, the October 1975 issue, and as I'm admiring the alcohol and cigarrette ads on every couple of pages, I was wondering about the models in those ads from so long ago.....just all kinda stuff; like, if that was the only work they'd ever done or -- guess I'm just strange, but whatever.
When I was through in the bathroom, I went and looked at a few others from years back; interesting! (espically the car ads) :D
